How did you pick the band name?

we were all throwing around names, but we really wanted something that signified our style as well as our philosophy in music. SEED kinda represents that stripped-down feel, a back-to-basics approach...plus, it rhymes with weed.

How would your define your sound?

were a funky, 3 piece, reggae-rock group with soulful rythms and hard grooves.

Describe your creative process for writing and composing music?

we derive musical inspiration from 'organic' materials, consumption of ancient elixirs and heavy meditation.

If you guys were to play with another band, which would it be?

if we could play a gig with any other groups, our top choices would be PJ Harvey, Dolly Parton, and NWA.

Where / how often / how do you guys practice?

We normally practice at least twice a week in the secret confines of our seed-cave, which is actually located in the most sinister recesses of the known world....kinda' by that 7-eleven over on brimhall and allen rd. When we practice, we really concentrate on timing and cohesiveness. We'll play a song 6 or 7 times in a row if that's what it takes to get the proper timing down.

Finally, why do men have nipples?

For women to play with.

I love SEED!! Some of the nicest guys you will ever meet!
