How did you pick the band name?
I was going through a divorce when I came up with it. Since it was already pretty established when the rest of the guys came in, we stayed with it.
How would your define your sound?
Raw and energetic. From the roots of how metal began. It's music that makes you bob your head and you find yourself getting caught up in its energy. We've had some mosh pits, but I dont know if we really go for that. Alot of people want to enjoy the show and don't want some dik slamming into them and knocking em around. I guess theres a time for em (mosh pits) and...not?
Describe your creative process for writing and composing music?
I used to write it all, music and lyrics. Now every one comes in from time to time and say's, "hey check this out." Pauly has been the author of the newer music. Then Brian, Richard and Scott just come in and add their personal touches to it. When I feel where it's going I can sit down and start pening out the words to them. Most of them are from a deeper or darker place of my mind, but not off into the world of doom and death and destruction , well there is two that are...ha ha. I think we write together well.
If you guys were to play with another band, which would it be?
Anyband? Man, we'd all have a different answer. Mine, original Black Sabbath. I'm sure the rest of them wouldnt bitch about that choice.
Where / how often / how do you guys practice?
We have our own studio, which we recently started renting out half the space to Myndsick. We practice every Monday and Wednesday night. Some Fridays we all get the families involved, friends and throw down a jam BBQ.
Finally, why do men have nipples?
Cause inside every man is woman dying to get out!!!

LOA is hard and fast. I have their first CD and it kicks ass. The vocals and lyrics are deep.
